➤ She left the session lit up and excited about some tangible action steps to take in the next few months.

  my client who is Senior Director in Product Marketing for a tech company uncover her natural leadership style, why it clashes with her boss’s, and what to do about it at her next meeting.
➤ She left the session finally understanding the strengths of her leadership style, why her manager does not see and value them (as they are different than his), and what to do to address it.

my client, Senior Product Designer, successful, smart and a high achiever who tends to repress her emotions which causes her stress and fatigue at work and life. We did a powerful process to help her learn to welcome her emotions more, and use them as a leveraging tool in her career/life, instead of a hindrance.
➤ She left the session with some internal shifts and practices to welcome/leverage her emotions instead of repressing them.

It was one of the biggest crises of my life.

(I’m sharing this post I wrote in 2020 as it may help you or people you know who are facing a layoff.)

As I was losing my job, I was also losing my Visa to stay in the U.S.

I wanted to stay in California and change careers to pursue my passion.

It was time.

I kept hearing voices telling me otherwise.

An HR person told me that “I had to choose. I could not have both: staying in California and changing careers.”

My heart was screaming at me:  “no, I cannot choose. I’m not buying this. I think I can have both and I will.”

People were telling me: “What about you stay in the field of User Experience for now. It will be easier to stay in the US.”

I knew in my heart that this was not my path.

Despite the fears, despite the shoulds, despite the voices—internal and external—telling me otherwise…

…I chose the path of my heart and I forged ahead.

I went back to school to study coaching and psychology.

Two years later, I started my business to do what I love the most:  helping executives, managers, and high-achieving professionals stuck in a career they no longer love, discover and create meaningful work that reignites their passion and makes a difference. 

Ten years later, my business is thriving, I work with clients I love, I’m excited about my work… and I’m doing it from California!

If it was not for the layoff, I would not be where I am now.

Looking back, I see that the layoff was a blessing in disguise to help me on my path.

To do the work you truly love, you need to choose the path of your intuition.

Yesterday, for the first time, I had the honor of speaking on a French Enneagram panel virtually hosted in France by Cecile-Flora Lefevre. The Enneagram is a powerful transformation system that I use with my clients. On the panel, I shared–in French–my personal journey of transformation using the Enneagram.

I have spoken on countless English-speaking and/or American-based Enneagram panels led by internationally known experts–including Beatrice Chestnut, Uranio Paes, Ben Saltzman to name a few– but it was my first time sharing in French with fellow French and French-speaking Enneagram practitioners.

SO GOOD!

Bridging cultures and languages is part of my mission. It’s why I love supporting clients from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and countries.

I landed at San Francisco International Airport with my two suitcases exactly 12 years ago today. So, I GET to CELEBRATE!!! 🎉🎉🎉

…and reflect on the many DREAMS that I’ve manifested since I arrived.
This is a practice I’ve my clients do. Take stock of all their many achievements (in the past 1, 5, 10, 20 years)
I encourage you to do the same! It is a great confidence booster. My life is far from being perfect and I’m navigating some new challenges this year.
AND
I’ve achieved SO MUCH in the past 12 years; it’s time to CELEBRATE and take stock of that.

I am modeling what I teach. I’m walking the talk. 
 So, here it is:
🔥 I manifested my long-time dream to move to the San Francisco Bay Area.
⭐️ I worked for one of the biggest Internet company in the world. (Yahoo!)🔥 I achieved my dream of becoming bilingual (English-French.)
⭐️ After 10 years of working in User Experience, I reinvented my career to follow my passion and calling.
🔥 I went back to school to study Psychology and Coaching.
⭐️ I stepped into my purpose by starting my own career reinvention coaching business. (a long-time dream of mine)
🔥 I developed a successful business that I love, that totally supports me financially.
⭐️ I’ve worked with hundreds of clients guiding them on their own career reinvention through 1:1 and group coaching.
🔥 I’ve lead 80+ workshops and talks about “Discovering the Career You Love” and “Making Your Own Career Shift.” talking to a total of 1,000+ people.
⭐️ I was invited to speak on 8 success panels to share the successes in my business and life.
🔥 I’ve GROWN tremendously on the personal and professional levels.
⭐️ I’ve worked directly with 20+ business, love, personal, relational, and spiritual mentors.

🔥 I’ve gone on many solo trips (ranging from a weekend to 3 weeks) – locally, nationally, and internationally. – driving, flying, camping, staying in rooms and Airbnb.
⭐️ I manifested my dream apartment in the SF Bay Area Hills with a hot tub and a breathtaking view of the Bay.
🔥 I indulged in my passion for fashion, by hiring a high-end Stylist and Image Consultant and participating in two professional photoshoots, with some of the best photographers in the industry.
⭐️ I explored my passion for dancing and learned partner dances (waltz, ballroom dances, salsa, swing, etc), and practiced many free-form dances.
🔥 I dived into my passion for authentic relating by taking weekend workshops and year-long courses to master relational skills.
⭐️ After many years of searching, I found a spiritual community that I love.

There is more, but that’s a good start! Thank you for reading! It is special for me to share all of that with you. Both vulnerable and exciting.
