Are you listening to the nudges, the hints you receive?
…to that quiet voice of your intuition, I mentioned in the 4 steps to manifest what you want in 2020.
Well, if you don’t, this is the time you start!
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of this to create the work and life you want.
Maybe you are wondering how to do it or how that looks like.
Well, I just had an experience of it yesterday. I decided to make a video so that you can get it more clearly.
I listened to the nudge of my intuition and manifested something totally unexpected that I am really excited about. Something I wanted but did not think I could have.
I’m sharing the story and tips on how to do it in this video.
Watch it and let me know what you learned!
To the manifestation of your dreams in 2021,
Isabelle

Last week, I went to the Ocean for some rejuvenation and rest.
As I was walking on the beach, my attention was caught by two women playing in the waves with a wetsuit on.

I had this thought: “wow that sounds fun. I wonder how that feels to go in the water in winter with a wetsuit on.”
I love playing in the Ocean and often wish the water was warm enough all year around to do so.
In the evening, I got this inkling to post on Facebook to ask about people’s experience with wetsuit in winter, and I added that ideally, I would like to try a wetsuit on before buying one to see how that feels.
Several Facebook friends commented on it with some great info. To my surprise, a friend who lives close by offered to lend me her wetsuit.
I messaged her right away and asked if I could borrow it the following day. We were not sure if it would fit me, but we decided to try.
The day after, I tried it on and it fitted me quite well.
I put it on and a couple of hours later, I was playing in the water with a wetsuit, like the women I saw only the day before.

I manifested the vision in only one day!
I even had the joy to swim close to dolphins and seals while in the water.
But the story does not end there…
In the evening, I felt compelled to tell my landlord about it. My landlord loves all kinds of water sports and adventures. I texted him about it without expecting or asking for anything, just for the fun of sharing and because I was called to do so. To my surprise, my landlord replied back that I could borrow his boogie board if I wanted.
So, a few days later, I was back in the Ocean with the wetsuit from my friend and the boogie board from my landlord.
Wow! I never expected that following the hints after seeing these two women in the water would lead me there! But it did.
And there is more to come and unfold from this.
After that, I got the inspiration of paddleboarding and kayaking with my landlord on the Bay. I texted my landlord and asked him about it. He said he would be happy to go kayaking with me on the Bay (he has two kayaks) and he can give me a guest pass to go paddleboarding in the Berkeley marina.
I’m also playing with the idea of going to other beaches to play in the water. and buying my own wetsuit.
I’m sure there is more that will unfold as I follow the hints and inspirations I receive. Some big visions for my work and life in 2021 are emerging from this experience.
This is what happens when you follow your impulses, gut feelings, or intuition. It leads you to manifest things better than what you could have imagined. I see that over and over again for myself and for my clients.
What does that mean for you?
Well, what I did is follow the exact same steps I recommend my clients to follow when they are in the phase of making their vision for their career and their life a reality.
There are some of the steps I follow regularly to manifest what I want in my work and in my life.
Here are the 4 steps to manifest with ease:
1. Ensure you are in a state of openness and relaxation, rested, and present. Do whatever you need to be in that state. Go in nature, meditate, etc. whatever works for you. If your mind is busy or you feel scattered, tired, overwhelmed, or rushed, it won’t work.
2. Notice the things, activities, or people that catch your attention and interest. Stay with that interest. Be curious about it.
3. Follow the nudges, hints, or impulses you receive, however small and quiet they are and even if you doubt them or wonder why to follow them. Especially if you doubt them! Your mind will probably resist and bring you all kinds of “rational” reasons why you should not. Don’t listen to it. Just follow the nudge.
4. Take action on opportunities that arise. Don’t delay. Take the opportunity that presents itself in the moment and follow it.
What are YOU going to manifest in 2021?
I can’t wait to hear!

My Christmas Eve celebration reminded me why so many people get bored at work and are stuck in a loop.
Let me tell you about it.
If you don’t celebrate Christmas, you can apply this to any traditional holiday you celebrate.
This is how I celebrated Christmas Eve this year.
Picnicking on a California beach with a friend, her baby, and her dog. (socially distanced)

…and contemplating a majestic sunset.
This was one of the best Christmas Eve celebrations I’ve had.
Do you know why it was one of the best?
Well, because it was different than the norm, what is said “we are supposed to do” to celebrate Christmas.
- what we learned “we should do.”
- what we keep repeating over and over again automatically without questioning it, without asking ourselves if we enjoy it or not.
We just follow the rules we were taught.
And we get bored; things get flat, uninteresting. They lost their flavor.
We are on automatic pilot.
Have you experienced that?
The same happens with work for many people.
- We follow the rules of society about what work we should do, why we should do it, and how to choose it.
- We don’t question them.
- We continue on automatic pilot.
- We don’t ask ourselves if we like that type of work or not, if we enjoy ourselves. Asking if we like it is out of the equation.
- We follow what the mainstream is saying we should do.
- We make choices based on society, instead of our own.
- We lose joy; we get bored; work does not have flavor or meaning and we wonder why.
We need to break the rules to find our joy and nourishment again.
As I did for Christmas.
- Break the rules of conditioning.
- Find what makes you happy, what brings you joy.
To discover the work I do now and that brings me joy, I had to break the mold of what I was told I was “supposed to do” to follow what made my heart sing.
It is not an easy path. It requires facing your fears and sometimes the judgment or incomprehension of others, maybe even people close to you. But this is the only way to find joy again in your work. It is one of the most rewarding journeys you can take in your life. When you love your work, everything changes for the better: your relationships, your happiness, your health, and more.
Having a guide on the journey makes it much easier. A guide who has been where you want to go.
If you—or people you know—are interested in getting support to discover the work that lights you up, apply here to have a conversation with me.
I’m currently taking some time off for the holidays, but I’ll follow-up with you as soon as I’m back in my office in early January.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
However you celebrate (or don’t), do it your way, the way that makes your heart sing!
Isabelle

P.S. to clarify, when I’m writing about “breaking the rules,” I’m not encouraging to go against the Covid safety guidelines. All of this is done in the context of keeping ourselves and others safe. We can stay safe and find creative ways to enjoy ourselves.

in my comfy PJs and robe. under my cozy blankets.

Meditating, journaling, life visioning, contemplating.
I have not had breakfast yet or eaten any food. Just drunk hot water from the thermos set on my bedside table.
This is a typical Sunday morning for me. and one of my favorite things to do on Sundays.
This is how I tap into my intuition and inner guidance about my life. In silence and spaciousness of time. with no pressure to do anything and get anywhere.
A lot of the visions for dreams that become manifest in my life start there, from the comfort of my bed on a Sunday morning.
In my journal. in the listening. in the silence.
- The vision for the O1 VIsa—US VIsa for individuals with extraordinary abilities—that allowed me to fulfill my dream to stay in the US and grow my business here started on a Sunday morning from my bed.
- Many trips, retreats, and adventures I went to were birthed from my bed.
- My dream of moving to California and the US started from my bed.
The vision for 2021 and for the next stage of my life and business are being birthed right now as I write this, from my bed in my PJs.
My bed and my PJs on Sunday mornings are some of my most productive tools.
Yes, productive. It’s what I wrote.
Staying in bed on Sunday mornings is productive.
I resisted it at first.
Like this morning. I wanted to stay in bed and have the spaciousness to meditate, contemplate, journal.
But a part of me resisted it.
A part of me was judging it.
That part was saying: “there are many things you need to do today, and staying in bed will slow you down. You don’t have time for that.”
The part that thinks “productivity” means “doing, doing, doing,” getting things done. Everything else is laziness and time wasted.
The part that was conditioned to think productivity has to look a certain way and that staying in bed for hours without a specific end time is the opposite of productivity.
What is productivity anyway?
Where does that come from?
Why in the US and in the Western world, are we running after it, all the time?
When one of the most powerful and “productive” guidance comes from the silence, the “non-doing,” the listening within, the leisureliness of the being and slowing down.
Most of my manifested dreams were birthed in the non-doing.
I am so glad I did not listen to the conditioned part of me this morning.
And, as a result, I’m being so productive from my bed.
Birthing the next dreams that I will manifest and celebrate in 2021 and beyond.
What is a “non-productive” thing you are going to do today?
If you leave the conditioned voice of “productivity” aside, what are you called to do and be?
Do and be that!

“Wow”
This was my reaction when my client, Davis, told me last week he made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list!
Davis started working with me last May to increase his clarity, motivation, and confidence in building his second business out of his passion for teaching and entrepreneurship.
Since then, he has been totally rocking it.
Removing blocks after blocks in our sessions and stepping even more into his talents for entrepreneurship.
He just published his first book “How To Start a Business (In 50 Pages)” that I received in my mailbox today.
Watch out! He is up to big things in the world.
You can too!
