and I’m surprisingly excited about it. (the one-way ticket)
NOT because I want to stay indefinitely in France or move back there.
California is my home. At least for now. Even if France is very dear to my heart; It will always be.
I bought a one-way ticket because of some unknowns related to the US Covid travel ban. Whether I’ll be able to come back directly to the US or if I’ll have to spend 14 days in a country outside of the Schengen area.
(No matter what happens, I’ll be working and meeting my clients remotely, which is my joy.)
I’m realizing I LOVE one-way tickets!!! It feels SO good.
It means… FREEDOM.
Going with the flow Going with my desires Deciding when I want to come back. Letting things unfold and deciding from the unfoldment.
I LOVE living my life this way.
Open-ended Going with the flow With space for the unfoldment of what wants to emerge
This is where the magic happens.
In the unknown In the open space Where everything is possible.
Not in the constraints or the confinement or the preset and preplanned
It feels safer BUT it limits possibilities and creativity.
Let me ask you:
Where do you limit creativity and possibility out of fear of the unknown or clinging to safety?
In your career? in your life?
Where do you cling so tightly to safety that you have been stuck in the same place for years or even decades?
Where can you let loose to make space for the new?
Where do you plan things so tightly or you want things to unfold a certain way that you don’t allow anything new to enter your life?
Where do you sacrifice JOY and your heart desires for SAFETY?
This is why so many people are unhappy and never go for their dreams and desires.
Is that YOU?
Ask yourself honestly.
Change starts with self-honesty. Not denial
It takes courage but this is the path to the career and lifestyle of your dreams.
This is the path I’ve taken over and over again. This is the path my clients take to reach their dream careers.
I am back from Scotland and it was an experience out of this world!
Truly. The best trip I’ve ever experienced.
I’m not exaggerating.
Everything I LOVE was “packaged” in one trip. It was bliss after bliss.
My passion for Harry Potter. I took the Hogwarts Express!! (aka The Jacobite train in the Highlands)
My love for beautiful sceneries by the Ocean and Lochs. Here on the Isle of Skye.
My passion for the series Outlander. I went to some magical places where the show was filmed.
And much more! These are only a few of the hundreds pictures I took.
When I think about how much I resisted the decision to go to Scotland in the first place and how scared I was to make it,I am blown away by the contrast between my fears and the reality of what happened.
None of my fears came to pass. NONE.
And you know what?
If I did not allow myself to move past these fears, I would not have experienced the magic of this trip and all the amazing learnings I gained from it.
This trip changed me and changed my perspective on my life.
So, I thought about you all…
…and of all the dreams and desires you may prevent yourself from having because you are scared or you think they are unreasonable.
I made this video with you in mind, to help you move past your fears and go for your dreams, whether they are doing the work you love or something else.
(Note: It was originally recorded as a Facebook Live.)
I’d love to hear what you are discovering as you are watching this video.

Committed to you living the career and life of your dreams,
Three weeks ago, I had no idea I would be flying to France. There was no trip to France planned in my schedule for a while.
Monday, two weeks ago, as I was talking to my 101 years-old grandma over the phone, I found her voice and energy extremely low, lower than it has ever been.
My heart sank.
My grandma who I love very much recently spent three months at the hospital after falling and breaking her femoral neck last February. She has been back home for a few weeks but with limited autonomy and moving on a wheelchair. This has been extremely hard for her.
On that call, I heard my intuition speak very loudly:
“Go to France and see her. She needs your love and presence right now.”
On Friday, four days later, I bought my ticket.
On Saturday, I was on the plane to Paris.
On Sunday night, I was giving her a big hug.
This is an example of me following my intuition and taking inspired action aligned with my values.
3 of the keys of living a fulfilling life and career.
1. I listened to my intuition: I heard it very loudly. I don’t always hear it so loudly; this time was particularly clear. I initially resisted it. I had other plans; it required shifting things around, and facing disappointing people. It was hard. I faced some of my demons. But, everytime I would speak to my grandma the following days, it was so loud and clear that I could not resist it. I knew I had to go or I would regret it.
2. I took inspired action: This action was not planned or prepared. It was a spontaneous action guided by my heart and my intuition. It felt right. I felt inspired to do it. It did not feel forced or constrained. It emerged organically. I felt more alive as a result. This is what inspired actions look and feel like.
3. I aligned my action with my values: My grandma is one of the most important people in my life. I love her very dearly. She has given me so much love over the years. I wanted to give back and be present with her the same way she has been for me. Caring and showing acts of love to the people I love, especially my family, is a top value for me. Every time I act on this value, my life feels fulfilled, rich, and meaningful. This is what happens when you live according to your core values.
I am so glad I did all of these things. Since being here, my grandma has felt much better. I saw her regaining some vitality and strength. I fulfilled part of my purpose by being with her.
So, let me ask you,
How are you doing on these three keys?
Do you listen to your intuition? or your gut feeling? (or inner guidance) Are you actually in touch with it? or do you listen to the voice of “should” and fears? Or do you even don’t know maybe because you have lost touch with your intuition for a long time?
Are you taking inspired actions? oractions dictated by society and what people around you tell you “should” do? Do you wait to act until you have a super well crafted, impeccable plan?
Are you living your life according to your values? Do you even know what your values are and what brings fulfillment and richness to your life? What your key ingredients and drivers of fulfillment are.
Check with yourself right now. This is important. This is your life.
If you answer no to most of the questions above, chances are that you are lacking significant fulfillment in your work or life.
And yes, these totally apply to work as well. They are essential to be happy in your work.
If so, what are you going to do this week to change that?
Or, if you answered yes to most of these questions:
What are you going to do to align even more your life and work with those keys?
Hit reply and tell me. I would love to hear and support you.
To you living your life and career on YOUR own terms.
I went to Los Angeles for the Harry Potter Bachelorette Party of my friend, Stephanie. We went to the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Universal Studios in Hollywood and re-watched several of the movies.
We had a blast!
I am a total Harry Potter fan.
I’m fascinated by this story.
In front of Hogwarts.
Happiness and silliness in front of the Hogwarts Express.
At Hogsmeade. Yes, I ate lots of candies and drank butterbeer!
As I was chatting with a friend about how JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, is such a great example of someone who followed her calling despite financial hardship, my friend asked:
What if JK Rowlingdid not follow her calling to write Harry Potter?
…What if she resisted writing it and let her fears take over?
…What would the world be like?
Imagine a world without Harry Potter… or without your favorite hero/heroine or bookif you are not into Harry Potter.
Think about the books or stories that truly made a difference in your life and imagine your life without these books or movies.
How would that be like?
Really ponder that for a moment.
a world without the inspiration that changed your life for the better.
a world without the stories and characters you cherish.
It sounds pretty sad, doesn’t it?
Well, this is what is going to happen if you don’t go for your own career dreams.
Have you ever thought about that?
Have you ever thought about what the world and people around you are missing out when you hold back on your dreams and callings?
Really ponder that for a minute.
This is not just about you.
This is about the world and the difference you are here to make.
The world is missing out when you hold back on your dreams.
JK Rowling, through Harry Potter, touched millions of lives worldwide.
The idea of Harry Potter came to her while sitting on a delayed train from Manchester to London. She had this surge of inspiration and she conceived the story in her mind for the next four hours.
She was so compelled by the story that she wrote the first book despite being single mother on welfare and all the internal and external voices telling her she would never make money writing children books and she should find a more “practical” job.
She had no idea the book would become such a success. She wrote it because she was called to do it and she followed her calling.
Imagine.. if she did not follow her inspiration?
and gave away to fears, or so-called “practicality.”
Imagine a world without her talents being expressed?
How sad that would be.
How the world would be missing out.
So, here are my questions for you,
Are you holding back from going after your dreams and callings?
Are you letting the fears stop you?
What is the world missing out from you holding back?
Be honest with yourself.
I’m doing this work because I did not let the fears stopped me or hold me back.
I had fears, LOTS of them, and I still do at times.
But I did not let them stop me.
What would you do if you did not let the fears stop you?
What would the world benefit from your presence and gifts?
If you (or people you know) are truly committed to finding the answers to these questions, I have a few slots available right now in my coaching practice for a few selected people serious about investing in themselves, and who are a do-what-it-takes kind of people.
I am selective about the people I work with. I only work with people who have a do-what-it-takes mindset. If this is you:
