Is that you?

Is that you?

Welcome to September!

A season of new beginnings!

I am excited to get started with two fabulous new clients on their journey to discovering the career they absolutely love!

The two slots I had open last month for 1:1 clients in my  “Land the Career You Love” coaching program have been claimed.
One of my new clients is originally from Croatia.

We talked 4 years ago; she was not ready then. She reached out again and now, she is going for it! I’m loving her dedication and go-getter energy. Only two sessions and she is already rocking it!

I can’t wait to see what beautiful gifts and career path we are going to uncover for her.

In the past 12 months, I have had several clients who reached out to me before (or attended one of my workshops at General Assembly in San Francisco) but were not ready then to make the jump and embark on the journey to discovering the career they love.

Months or even years later, they reached out again ready, and more committed and dedicated than ever. These clients often totally rock it. Because they are fully in and are done being miserable at work.

I know that some other people I talked to in the past were not ready then, and are ready now.

Is that you? (or maybe someone you know)

If so, I’ve great news!

I’m opening up two new slots this month for my “Land the Career You Love” 1:1 coaching program.

Two of my current clients are graduating soon, and I want to give an opportunity to two people who are ready to rock these last four months of 2019 and start 2020 doing work they love!

>> If this is you, apply here to schedule a time to chat with me.
(or if not you, maybe someone you know (friend, spouse, colleague, relative) who need help discovering the career they love)

How would that feel like to finally get the support you need and start 2020 doing work you love?

Or do you prefer to keep delaying this and start 2020 as bored and unhappy at work that you have been for years?

  • How long are you going to say: “Now is not the time”?
  • How long have you been delaying this?

Be honest with yourself.

This does not have to stay the same. You can do something about it. Actually only you can.

If you are feeling the call, I’m here to support you.

This is my purpose and my mission in this world.

Isabelle

P.S. I know it’s possible for you to wake up excited to go to work in the morning. I want that for you.
>> Apply here to schedule a time to chat with me about how I can help you start 2020 clear and excited about the work you are here to do.
Please forward this email to people you know (spouse, friend, relative, coworker) who need the help!

Can you answer this question?

Can you answer this question?

What brings you JOY?

Can you answer this question?

I mean: answer it honestly, without censoring yourself to make a good impression or worrying about what people think about what you love?

If not, that may be one of the things stopping you from finding the career you love.

I’ve seen it with several of my clients.

  • Some just cannot answer that question.
  • Others have negative judgments (or even shame) about some of the things they TRULY ENJOY doing and they hide them.

How can you find the work you love if you don’t know what brings you TRUE JOY and HAPPINESS or if you are thinking it’s not okay to love what you love?

It is very hard.

The first step is becoming aware of what you enjoy and what your unique ingredients of fulfillment. are, independently of what people think or what you think these “should” be.

This is why we start with that in my coaching programs.

A good way to begin is to collect your happiness (or even “micro happiness”) moments at the end of the day or week. At the end of the day, take a journal and write down the moments, even brief, when you experienced joy during your day or week.

Keep me posted on what you find!

To the work that brings you JOY!

Isabelle

P.S. One of the things that bring me joy and that I used to hide and be embarrassed about is FASHION and dressing up. I used to judge it, thinking it was “superficial”  and “not smart enough” to like fashion and beauty. Fashion is often poo-pooed in our hyper-masculine and hyper-analytical western cultures and considered “weak” or “superficial.” I am not hiding it anymore! This is part of who I am and I own it. I’m not less smart because I LOVE fashion.

It’s time to let go of THIS

It’s time to let go of THIS

Happy New Year!
Bonne annee!

I have a question for you to help you start 2019. Probably one of the most important questions you need to ask yourself.

As I was playing one of these Facebook games (yes, I could not resist!), I received a powerful quote and I thought about you.

I thought you might need to hear this.

Here it goes.

Are you waiting for someone (your spouse, your parents, your co-workers, society, your boss, etc.) to give you permission to…

…BE who you are?
…DO the work you love?
…FOLLOW your dreams?
…LOVE what you love?
…LIVE the life you want to live?

Listen carefully. Sometimes, we do that in subtle ways.

If so, this is time to STOP.

Yes, STOP.

Stop waiting for others’ and the outside world’s permission to be who you are and do what you love.

If not now, when?

  • next year?
  • in 10 years?
  • on your death bed, when it’s too late?

A palliative nurse recorded the most common regrets of the dying and put her findings into a book called “The Top Five Regrets of The Dying.”

Guess what is the #1 regret of people at the end of their lives?

Well, this one:

“I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
“This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honored even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realize until they no longer have it.”

Is that you? Be truly honest with yourself. Stop and look within.

  • If so, don’t wait!
    • in which area of your life are you giving others or society the power to decide who you are and what you should do with your life or career?
    • In which aspect of your work or life can you be more true to yourself?

Slow down and take the time to reflect now.

  • If not, fabulous! Congrats on being true to you!
    • Are there areas in your life where you could be even more true to you and let go of others’ or society’s ideas and opinions?
    • Forward this email to someone you know (spouse, coworker, friend, relative) who may need to hear this message.

Whatever your situation is, say this out loud a few times with me.

Yes, out loud.
Now.

There is a power in declaring out loud the reality we want. It helps enters into our consciousness more.

“I don’t need your permission to be exactly who I am.”

Say it again.

“I don’t need your permission to be exactly who I am.”

To you being true to yourself in 2019!

I’ve got your back!

Isabelle

LIVE from Sedona, Arizona (pics)… I’ve a message for you

LIVE from Sedona, Arizona (pics)… I’ve a message for you

Hi!

I am currently in Sedona, Arizona. I just attended a 3-day EPIC transformational retreat with other Visionary women and business owners to amplify my service to my clients, my community (you!), and the world.

This is me at Cathedral Rock, after an epic photoshoot.

I had a blast and I feel so inspired.

This morning, I woke up early with a strong inspiration to write. I received a message for you that I needed to share. Half-awake, I sat at my laptop and wrote.

Here is my message for you.

It starts with two questions

Who were you before being conditioned by your family and society?
Who are YOU without all the layers of conditioning you took on as you grew up?

Doing the work you love lies in the answers to these questions.

I guarantee it.

Oh, maybe, you think you did not get conditioned? or you don’t know what I am talking about?

Most of us carry so many layers of conditioning that cloud the truth of who we are. I’ve seen it in myself and I see it in ALL the clients I’ve worked with.
Every single time.
With NO exceptions.

And we wonder why we are unfulfilled and unhappy in our lives and work.

We are living somebody else’s life.
Somebody else’s values.
Somebody else’s notion of success.
Somebody else’s worldview.
Somebody else’s…. [fill in the blank]

From that place, how can you do the Work you love? How can you live the life you want?

You CAN’T.

Why?

Well, imagine… being stuck in someone’s else notion of what fulfillment means.

How can YOU be fulfilled?

You simply cannot. It is impossible.

and sadly, this is the way most people on the planet are living their lives.

If you are still doubting, let me give you some examples of clients.

  • He has been an engineer for all his life. He is in his late 40s. He was bored and unfulfilled in his work when he started working with me. Through our work together, he realized that when he was a kid, he loved drawing and building things with his hands. He is also naturally very intuitive and connected to the unseen. But his dad valued engineering and encouraged him to follow that path. So, he lost touch with his true nature as a builder, artist, and an intuitive person. He lost touch with what makes him alive and happy.

  • Her parents’ notion of success is to have letters after their name (PhD, MD, etc). Unconsciously, to be loved by her parents as a kid, she took on this idea that to be successful and happy in her work, she needed status and to have letters after her name. But this is incongruent with what she loves and what makes her fulfilled. So, she was struggling to find her own path, being unconsciously influenced by this old programming.

I’ve seen it in myself too.

  • I am an avid world traveler. This is part of who I am. I am a citizen of the world. But part of my family has different values and worldview. They value staying and living close to family. Unconsciously, to be loved by them, I shrank down that part of me who loves traveling the world.

What is arising for you right now?

Listen.

If you were not trying to please family and society, what would you do?
Who would you be?
How would you live your life?

Truly listen.

The voice of your true self may be very quiet, especially if it has been buried for a long time, as for a lot of my clients.

You may not even hear it.

It DOES NOT mean it’s not there.

If you are having a hard time hearing it and and need help uncovering it, I would be delighted to support you. Or If you know someone that can benefit from this message, please forward it to them.

This is one of the things I am the best at and the work I LOVE doing with my clients.

Fill out the application for a Complimentary Find the Career You Absolutely Love Breakthrough Session and I’ll be in touch.

To your freedom,
To your fulfillment in work and life,

Love and blessings,

Isabelle

P.S. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” (Mary Oliver)

One of the biggest roadblocks to discovering the career you love

One of the biggest roadblocks to discovering the career you love

Do you know what is one of the BIGGEST ROADBLOCKS to discovering the Career You Love?

….and that I’ve seen in so many of my clients, especially when they seem really stuck.

Well, I can tell you what it is NOT.
It is NOT:
– a lack of clarity (even if people think it is, and at a superficial level it feels that way)
– a lack of skills or talents
– a lack of job or career options out there

Nope, none of that.

Surprising, eh?
Here is what it is:

Some negative beliefs about themselves they took on as a result of painful life experiences (or conditioning) and the story they made around it:

  • “I’m not worthy”
  • “I’m too wild”
  • “I’m not lovable”
  • “I’m not as smart as my brother”
  • “I’m not smart”
  • “I’m weird”
  • “I’m too bossy”
  • “I’m too much”
  • “I’m not creative”
  • I’m not good enough”
  • ….and the list goes on and on.

I’ve seen that in SO MANY of my clients that I cannot ignore it. Many times, there is a point in the process we get there, and it’s when the real breakthrough happens.

Because this is the REAL BLOCK.
It is our perception of who we are that affects what we think we can do.

Let me say that again:

It is our perception of who we are that affects what we think we can do.

Let it sink in.
When we clear that, everything changes. And suddenly, my clients realize that clarity was not the problem. They KNEW ALL ALONG what they truly wanted.
It is the shadow of their old wound that made it blurry for them to see what they truly wanted.
When it’s cleared, they are ready to: Give themselves permission to be who they are and love what they love.

From that place, EVERYTHING becomes possible.

So, here are my question for you:

Deep down, do you hold negative beliefs about yourself? If so, what are they?

Be really honest with yourself. This is an uncomfortable place, but this is a necessary place to explore if you want to create the career and life you truly want.

I know. I’ve been there myself.

And this is why I’m ready to go there with you. This is in the shadow that you will find your light. Sometimes, there is no other way.

But the journey is SO worth it. This is where lasting change happens. I guarantee it. I’ve seen it so many times now.

Are you ready?

I’m ready to go there with you!

Feel free to comment below and share. I am here cheering you on.

I believe in you.

Isabelle

P.S. To your brilliant light that is waiting to soar.
