I used to hide this part of myself

I used to hide this part of myself

I would push it down. Make it small.

To be loved and accepted.
To be approved.
To conform.
To belong.

This part that was different than most of my family.
This part that was not welcomed.

Because it was going against the status quo.
Against the family’s norms and expectations.
Against the way…

  • …things “should” be.
  • …people “should” live their lives.
  • …I ‘should” be a good daughter, niece, and granddaughter.
  • …I ‘should” live my life.

This part of me that craves adventure and freedom.

North Coast of California during my vacation last week

This part of me that loves…

  • traveling around the world.
  • living in foreign counties.
  • discovering new places, new cultures, new experiences.
  • going on new adventures whether it’s kayaking, camping, or climbing a peak.

Kayaking on the Gualala River during my vacation last week

Camping by the Pacific Ocean – North Coast of California

This part of me that loves living my life…

  • out loud
  • fully expressed
  • joyful and happy
  • away from the “shoulds” and “have to”

Making a campfire at the campsite

The TRUTH is…

I am an adventurous spirit.
I am a FREE spirit.

This is a BIG PART of who I am. Not ALL of who I am, but a bit part.

To claim and embrace it, I had to break through the norms and shoulds of my family conditioning.

It takes courage to do that.

But on the other side of it, I found the career and life of my dreams, the work I absolutely love that brings me joy and meaning every day.

Have you ever wondered where to find the career and life of your dreams? The type of work and lifestyle that brings you true joy and fulfillment?

Well, if you are like most of the people I’m here to serve, the answer is…

  • …on the other side of your “shoulds” and “have to.”
  • …on the other side of the conditioning, you have taken from family, school, society, culture.
  • …on the other side of proving that you are lovable and intelligent.
  • …on the other side of proving that you belong.

I know.
I have been there… and back.
This is the story of my life.
I know the terrain well.
I’ve traveled it so many times… and I keep traveling it.

If you need help going on the other side of the shoulds to find the work and life you truly LOVE,

I can guide you there.

This is the terrain I love travelling with my clients.
The terrain through which I’ve guided hundreds of clients who are now living the work and life of their dreams.

I can hold your hand through it. This is what I’m the best at.

If you want to explore how I could help, apply for a “Discover the Career You Absolutely Love” Complimentary Breakthrough Session. I currently have 3 spots open for new clients

Wherever you are on your journey, I wish for you to have work and life you truly love, free of the shoulds and conditioning that keep you bound and unhappy.

What are you going to do this week that brings you joy independently of what you think you should do?

Comment below and tell me! I want to hear

To your full expression,

Isabelle

I’m excited! THIS is happening!

I’m excited! THIS is happening!

I’ve been wanting to offer more continued support to my Roadmap To A Career You Love graduate clients for a while.

Well, this is happening!

This is why I’ve been silent for the past 10 days.

I’ve been busy designing the program and getting started with four new awesome clients who are up to great things in the world!

…as well as amping up my self-care by spending more time in nature.

I already offer continued 1:1 support to my advanced clients who want to step into the next level of clarity and manifestation of their career dreams.

So, what is special about this one?

Well, it’s all about the power of community.
and being part of an intimate group of like-minded people who have your back.

For the past two years, I have been facilitating my signature program Roadmap To A Career You Love in an intimate group setting and seeing the tremendous impact of it.

Imagine going through the journey of finding the work you love alongside like-minded people on the same journey.
people who have your back.
people who cheer you on and inspire you.
people who believe in you.
people to share ideas and brainstorm with.
people who hold you accountable.

It is extremely powerful and supportive.

This is why I wanted to create a continuation of this support group for my existing and past clients.

Here it is!
“Keep Up the Momentum” Program is a 3-month intimate support group designed to help them:
– stay on the path
– keep up the momentum
– get unstuck
– move to the next level of clarity or action, whatever that may be.
– get the support of like-minded people on the same journey

I’m committed to supporting my clients and community doing the Work they absolutely love!

Isabelle

In my juicy creative place in nature.
This is how I tap into my inspiration. What is your way of tapping into your inspiration?

It’s time to let go of THIS

It’s time to let go of THIS

Happy New Year!
Bonne annee!

I have a question for you to help you start 2019. Probably one of the most important questions you need to ask yourself.

As I was playing one of these Facebook games (yes, I could not resist!), I received a powerful quote and I thought about you.

I thought you might need to hear this.

Here it goes.

Are you waiting for someone (your spouse, your parents, your co-workers, society, your boss, etc.) to give you permission to…

…BE who you are?
…DO the work you love?
…FOLLOW your dreams?
…LOVE what you love?
…LIVE the life you want to live?

Listen carefully. Sometimes, we do that in subtle ways.

If so, this is time to STOP.

Yes, STOP.

Stop waiting for others’ and the outside world’s permission to be who you are and do what you love.

If not now, when?

  • next year?
  • in 10 years?
  • on your death bed, when it’s too late?

A palliative nurse recorded the most common regrets of the dying and put her findings into a book called “The Top Five Regrets of The Dying.”

Guess what is the #1 regret of people at the end of their lives?

Well, this one:

“I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
“This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honored even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realize until they no longer have it.”

Is that you? Be truly honest with yourself. Stop and look within.

  • If so, don’t wait!
    • in which area of your life are you giving others or society the power to decide who you are and what you should do with your life or career?
    • In which aspect of your work or life can you be more true to yourself?

Slow down and take the time to reflect now.

  • If not, fabulous! Congrats on being true to you!
    • Are there areas in your life where you could be even more true to you and let go of others’ or society’s ideas and opinions?
    • Forward this email to someone you know (spouse, coworker, friend, relative) who may need to hear this message.

Whatever your situation is, say this out loud a few times with me.

Yes, out loud.
Now.

There is a power in declaring out loud the reality we want. It helps enters into our consciousness more.

“I don’t need your permission to be exactly who I am.”

Say it again.

“I don’t need your permission to be exactly who I am.”

To you being true to yourself in 2019!

I’ve got your back!

Isabelle

LIVE from Sedona, Arizona (pics)… I’ve a message for you

LIVE from Sedona, Arizona (pics)… I’ve a message for you

Hi!

I am currently in Sedona, Arizona. I just attended a 3-day EPIC transformational retreat with other Visionary women and business owners to amplify my service to my clients, my community (you!), and the world.

This is me at Cathedral Rock, after an epic photoshoot.

I had a blast and I feel so inspired.

This morning, I woke up early with a strong inspiration to write. I received a message for you that I needed to share. Half-awake, I sat at my laptop and wrote.

Here is my message for you.

It starts with two questions

Who were you before being conditioned by your family and society?
Who are YOU without all the layers of conditioning you took on as you grew up?

Doing the work you love lies in the answers to these questions.

I guarantee it.

Oh, maybe, you think you did not get conditioned? or you don’t know what I am talking about?

Most of us carry so many layers of conditioning that cloud the truth of who we are. I’ve seen it in myself and I see it in ALL the clients I’ve worked with.
Every single time.
With NO exceptions.

And we wonder why we are unfulfilled and unhappy in our lives and work.

We are living somebody else’s life.
Somebody else’s values.
Somebody else’s notion of success.
Somebody else’s worldview.
Somebody else’s…. [fill in the blank]

From that place, how can you do the Work you love? How can you live the life you want?

You CAN’T.

Why?

Well, imagine… being stuck in someone’s else notion of what fulfillment means.

How can YOU be fulfilled?

You simply cannot. It is impossible.

and sadly, this is the way most people on the planet are living their lives.

If you are still doubting, let me give you some examples of clients.

  • He has been an engineer for all his life. He is in his late 40s. He was bored and unfulfilled in his work when he started working with me. Through our work together, he realized that when he was a kid, he loved drawing and building things with his hands. He is also naturally very intuitive and connected to the unseen. But his dad valued engineering and encouraged him to follow that path. So, he lost touch with his true nature as a builder, artist, and an intuitive person. He lost touch with what makes him alive and happy.

  • Her parents’ notion of success is to have letters after their name (PhD, MD, etc). Unconsciously, to be loved by her parents as a kid, she took on this idea that to be successful and happy in her work, she needed status and to have letters after her name. But this is incongruent with what she loves and what makes her fulfilled. So, she was struggling to find her own path, being unconsciously influenced by this old programming.

I’ve seen it in myself too.

  • I am an avid world traveler. This is part of who I am. I am a citizen of the world. But part of my family has different values and worldview. They value staying and living close to family. Unconsciously, to be loved by them, I shrank down that part of me who loves traveling the world.

What is arising for you right now?

Listen.

If you were not trying to please family and society, what would you do?
Who would you be?
How would you live your life?

Truly listen.

The voice of your true self may be very quiet, especially if it has been buried for a long time, as for a lot of my clients.

You may not even hear it.

It DOES NOT mean it’s not there.

If you are having a hard time hearing it and and need help uncovering it, I would be delighted to support you. Or If you know someone that can benefit from this message, please forward it to them.

This is one of the things I am the best at and the work I LOVE doing with my clients.

Fill out the application for a Complimentary Find the Career You Absolutely Love Breakthrough Session and I’ll be in touch.

To your freedom,
To your fulfillment in work and life,

Love and blessings,

Isabelle

P.S. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” (Mary Oliver)

What saddens me the most in my work…

Do you know what saddens me the most in the work I do?

It is when I see people give up on themselves.
…give up on their talents
…give up on their dreams
…give up on their potential
…give up on the work they love.

I see their brilliance; I see them light up when they talk about what they love. I get so excited for what I see in them, the beauty I see, the amazing potential they have, the vision that is possible for them. I see amazing possibilities for them. I see who they are and who they can become. I see the fulfillment that awaits them if they tap into their true potential. I know it is possible for them if they would just reach for it…

They do work that is NOT who they are. They do somebody else’s work. They use someone else’s gifts instead of tapping into their unique talents and potential. Day in and day out, they work hard at being someone else and living someone else’s purpose.

They spend their whole life living someone else’s life and work. Often what society told them they should do.

And when it comes time to choose…

They choose the short-term comfort over their long-term fulfillment.
They abandon who they are. They abandon their brilliance, their potential, their dreams. They are wasting so much of their amazing resources.

Why do they do that?

They may give a lot of excuses (not enough money, not enough time, etc) but often this is not the true reason.

The true reason is:  FEAR

They are scared: scared of change, scared of the unknown, scared of not being good enough. And they let the fear makes the decision for them and be in the driver seat of their lives.

Change is scary.
But this is the only way to a life and work of fulfillment. A life fully lived with no regrets.

What are you choosing?

Are you choosing fear? and to live an unfulfilled, half-lived life, stay in the comfort of not making any change, and have regrets at the end of your life?

OR

Are you choosing to discover and embrace the amazing potential and talents you have, and go after your dreams, live your purpose, find work that is meaningful?

The choice is yours. No one else.

This is not society’s choice, your parents’, your friends’, your spouse’s, nobody else but your choice, and you do have a choice. You may think you don’t, but you choose every day even by the decisions you don’t make.

You are the captain of your destiny. Nobody else can make this choice for you.

What will you choose?

If you choose a career of meaning and fulfillment and need support clarifying what it is, I would be delighted to help you.

My program Roadmap To A Career You Love is still open for a few more amazing people, and I’d love to see if we are a match.

You can learn more and apply here.

I look forward to talking to you!

If you have already chosen and are living work and life on your terms, I’m really happy for you!

To your brilliance,
Isabelle
